Citizen Dialogue: How Do We Make Our Schools Safe?
Date and time
April 20, 2018 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
About this event
Most of us have strong opinions one way or the other, and in this time of personalized information streams, sometimes it is hard to understand why smart people can think so differently on this issue. The center is offering a chance to hear smart people on different sides of school safety; what they actually think and why, both with each other and then directly with the audience.
This panel discussion will be moderated by Brian Dickerson of the Detroit Free Press. After the moderated dialogue between the speakers, all attendees will participate in a moderated conversation in a coffeehouse-type atmosphere.
