About this event

In The Selling of the American Economy: How Foreign Companies are Remaking the American Dream, Micheline Maynard questions the commonly held belief that foreign investment in and ownership of businesses within the United States eliminates domestic jobs and undermines the American economy. She argues that foreign businesses contribute to their communities by invigorating local economies and diversifying American culture and business practices.
